Description

Family game night turning into a battle of ‘No, it’s my turn!’? Meet GameFlow: Direction Flipper — the 3D-printed hero that keeps the game moving and the arguments at bay. Who knew a little gadget could save your sanity?

The Idea came about when playing Uno No Mercy. A brutal version of Uno where you reverse play direction often.

Print-in-Place
This model is fully print-in-place, meaning it comes off the printer ready to go — no assembly required.

Post-Processing
IMPORTANT: After printing, simply tap the arrow sticking out 2–3 times with a hammer to free up the mechanism.

How It Works
GameFlow uses a Scott Russell mechanism, a clever linkage that translates linear motion into a 90° directional change. The smaller link in the middle is connected to the base and is exactly half the length of the larger link in the middle that connects the two arrows. A simple and effective mechanism. Press one arrow, and the mechanism shifts the other arrow accordingly, making turn order clear and game night frustration-free.

Use It For:

  • Card games
  • Board games
  • Family game night
  • Friendly tournaments
