Potted Minnie Mouse Prickly Pear Cactus Decoration

Approx 6 inches tall. The model in the photos has no glue but I do recommend using glue or parts will fall off if moved. Model was designed in a way to not take too long or use too much filament.

Please remember I am not a model maker or anything like that. I'm just a guy having fun, seeing what i can make. I like the idea that you kind of have to construct it but its so simple kids can help. If you have any feedback or recommendations I would love to hear them. TY

So, here is the 3rd model of my “Potted Mickey” series but this is actually Minnie. I made her into a prickly pear cactus to try to have it be different from the other 2 models. First off I could have used a nicer green. This one looks kind of grey

I used only straight thorns and made all the thorn inserts be vertical for a more unform look.

The dots on the pot were a challenge. I went back and forth with larger (looked like circles not dots) and smaller dots (looked sloppy) and settled on this size and pattern.

The eye lashes are installed by wedging them in from the wider outside and pushed inward towards the eye. It worked on all my prototypes with a little effort. (See pictures) 

For the bow I ended up drawing my own because her default bow has way too many dots and I also made the back black to avoid so many filament changes but maintain a decent thickness
