Description

Just got home yesterday from engaging in that time-honored tradition of dropping off our daughter at college. I knew she wanted some hooks to hang on the ends of the bed to hang her backpack or other similar things from but didn't know the thickness of the bed rail. Now having been in the room, I've got that info, so here we go!

I've used several of Buzzzz's hooks before for various projects with great results, but he didn't have something quite like this. So, I popped into Fusion and was (liberally) inspired by his work, producing this. I even made the rail thickness and structural wall thickness parameters you can modify. As-provided, it's suitable for a 25mm / 1 inch rail.

Great design! Fit my daughters wooden bunk bed perfectly. will be making some slimmer versions to hang den making sheets from!

Excellent point. I just uploaded a new version of the Fusion file that makes the width of the hook a parameter that can be customized. Appreciate the suggestion. Thanks!
