Description

This compact, pyramid-style barbell jack / stand is designed to make loading and unloading weights quicker and easier while protecting your floor. By lifting the bar slightly off the ground, it increases the resting surface area so plates aren’t digging dents into carpet or gym mats, and it creates clearance for easy plate changes.

The base is designed with four columns to stay strong yet lightweight. Each jack offers a wide contact surface that spreads the load to prevent marks and wear.

Works well with barbells and dumbbell bars.

Specs

  • Lift height: 16.5 cm
  • Max bar diameter: up to 45 mm
  • Capacity (per stand): >~50 kg tested (actual capacity depends on filament, number of walls and infill density)
  • Design: Pyramid body with hollow column structure for strength/weight balance

Print Profile (what I used)

  • Material: PLA
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3 (good strength vs. material; each extra wall adds ≈ 50 g of filament)
  • Infill: 15% Adaptive Cubic
  • Supports: Tree supports (remove easily with 0.3 Top Z Offset)
  • Orientation: Print upright as shown (base on the bed)

For higher strength and heat resistance (e.g., warm garages), print in PETG, ASA, or ABS. Consider >3 walls if you plan to load heavier or increase the infill %

I suggest test load gradually and inspect your prints (no under-extrusion, good layer adhesion etc.) and as with any plastic, are liable to break with heavy shock, so don't drop 100KG bar on them!
