Description
Grid Honeycomb for Zhiyun Lights
The grid honeycomb is a light modifier compatible with all Zhiyun lights that use the same focusing system, including:
- Zhiyun Cinepeer CX100
- Zhiyun Cinepeer CX50
- Zhiyun Molus X100
- Zhiyun Molus G60

The honeycomb design concentrates the beam, reduces light spill, and provides greater control over the light direction.
INFILL SETTINGS
This design allows you to adjust the infill using the cylinder modifier in your slicer. Simply change the infill density and pattern.
- Recommended infill: 10–15%, a good balance between focus and safety.
- Not recommended: 30% infill, as it absorbs too much heat and may cause a fire hazard.
INFILL COMPARISON (SEE REFERENCE PHOTOS)
- Photo 1 – Without modifier: wide and dispersed light.
- Photo 2 – Grid with 5% honeycomb infill: slight focusing, still soft.
- Photo 3 – Grid with 10% honeycomb infill: stronger concentration of light, more contrast. (recomended)
- Photo 4 – Grid with 30% honeycomb infill: very directional beam, but not recommended due to excessive heat.
