Boost Me (for free)

A boost is free and a great help to me.
Thanks in advance. :)

Note: The file includes two variants. One for the window handle on the left side and one for the right side. This must be observed, otherwise the holder will not fit.

For attaching a wooden board or another board, so that you can open your window completely without having to clear the windowsill every time. It is a simple holder adapted for standard windows in Germany. Cannot guarantee that it will fit windows outside Germany. As can be seen from the photos, these are normal windows. Unfortunately, I could not test the holders on other types of windows, but feel free to leave a comment if someone gains experience with other designs. The holder for the side without the handle is variably adjustable. Care must be taken not to place the holder too close to the wall, otherwise the window will not open. For me, I placed the holder 8cm away from the window edge. Thus, the window can be opened completely and the board does not hit the wall

Assembly is very simple. Simply click the corner holder onto the corresponding side of the window. First bottom then top. Then bring the other holder to the desired position. Here too, click it in at the bottom of the window first and then at the top (Care must be taken that the holder is pushed all the way up, otherwise there will be too much tension on the holder and the upper edge will break off). Then measure the board and insert it.

For safety, the board is fastened with 4x 3.0 x 16mm screws.

On the movable holder, I also put 3mm thick Armaflex tape between the upper support on the window. So that the window does not get scratched and so that the holder exerts a little more pressure. Additionally, I applied double-sided adhesive tape between the holder and the window frame to position the holder. Without double-sided adhesive tape, the holder may tip forward and fall off.

I hope you like my holder. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement.
