Description

Introducing the Cake Pop Roller – a handy tool designed to speed up the process of shaping perfect cake pop balls! This device creates uniform 3.5cm diameter balls with ease. To get the right amount of dough, use the mold from the second plate: assemble it, fill it with dough, level it off, and then place it onto the Cake Pop Roller. Press, rotate the rows 90 degrees, and roll to form perfect spheres.

I made this Cake Pop Roller for my niece, ensuring it’s food-safe. For best results, print it using PETG with a brass nozzle. After printing, thoroughly clean, dry, and coat it with a food-safe spray, such as silicone spray, to ensure safe contact with food.

The device works flawlessly and is constantly in use by my niece, who runs a bakery. It’s been a game-changer, significantly speeding up her cake pop production!

this is a super useful print - I'm not clear on what the separate connecting grid strips are for though? thank you for this!

you connect them - then insert dought inside and roller it flat - that measure and gives you perfect amount of cake for rolling to get best balls :)

Lost a star because the unnecessary lip on the top causes a need for supports. If the lip was not there it would be a big improvement. I could be mistaken, but I don't see a use or reason for this lip.

Grid is to measure amount of dough to create perfect balls, pu dough there, flaten it to grid level - put on cake pop roller - first cut with roller, then rotate 90 degree 0> roll and you got baaallls :D

Printing this for my sister. From a 3D modeling perspective this is kinda a rough model. The overhanging lip on the bottom makes it orient face down. Meaning the egg shaps on the bottom will be bad without suports which will also look bad. without the bottom lip, you could print this vertically making the channels way smoother . Also there should be a version without any text and pops as it's all overhang. I'm sure it will print OK, but mostly unnecessary. Guess i can make a remix...

Yeah, that’s a good catch, and it’s true. It was printed on my X1C with a special support layer because my wife’s sister wanted it to look good. But you can also print it separately in two parts: place one element flat on its back and print the second as is. It prints well that way and doesn’t require much support either. I’ll upload a version of the model with smoother sides for easier printing.

is this a good file to make like truffles, I'm scared to print it, and the cake pop is a bigger size than truffles. I don't really know how to make it smaller for truffles, I know I can scale it down on size, but I would probably mess the entire thing up.
