I made these extension legs for the control box so that after I swapped to direct drive the cables would reach the gantry when it's at max build height. Seemed easier then re doing the cable harness!
Also helps with airflow. There are cutouts at the back for the power cables, and underneath for the cooling fan.
It can be printed in one piece, but if you print it in two no supports are needed. The 0.1mm tolerance version worked perfectly for me, I didn't even need glue.
