Description
Loupe (Magnifier) Design – Fusion 360 Project
This loupe is a compact, ergonomic magnifying tool designed in Fusion 360 for makers, hobbyists, and jewelry or electronics enthusiasts. The design balances functionality and aesthetic simplicity, making it easy to print and assemble while providing practical magnification support.
Key Features
- Modular Body: three-piece housing (main body + lens holder) for easy insertion of a standard round magnifying lens.
- Comfort Grip: Rounded edges and smooth contours for comfortable handheld use, even during extended tasks.
- Lens Compatibility: Designed for [insert lens diameter, e.g., 76.6mm] standard round glass or acrylic lenses (readily available online).
- Screw size: M6
Suggested Printing Guidelines
- Material: PLA or PETG (durable, easy to print, light).
- Layer Height: 0.16 – 0.2mm for smooth curves.
- Infill: 20–30% (higher infill for a sturdier grip).
- Supports: Minimal supports required depending on lens holder design.
- Post-Processing: Light sanding and polishing recommended for a smooth finish around the lens slot.
Design Notes
