Bill of Materials
Description
This is a replacement resource cube for the board game Ascendancy by Mathew Meeple, replacing the plain white cube representing the Manastone resource with a gem nestled within a hollow cube.
There are two versions available: one where the cube is a single file, which works well if you have a dual filament print head or want to print them in a single color, and a split version which only has a single filament change when printing the base with the gem attached. The two halves click together with just a little pressure by pressing the two halves together, no glue necessarily required. Be sure to print these files with 0.12mm layer height to ensure everything is fine enough detailed to present the pegs and holes for connecting the two halves.
This project was inspired by the replacement resources being made by Kniephaus at https://www.printables.com/model/1393475-resources-for-ascendancy-board-game-by-mathew-meep, which are fantastic and you should check them out.
FreeCAD files have been included if you wish to make your own modifications.
