Add smooth, ball-bearing swivel control to Jakob_K_Design’s AMS Flipper—the hinge that lets you flip your AMS module upward for full access to the top of your P1S or X1C printer. Simply hold at the knobs to raise or lower the AMS with precision and ease. Ball bearings allow the knobs to rotate as you lift, enhancing your AMS Flipper experience.

Key Highlights:

Securely attaches to the AMS Flipper hinge for direct control
Incorporates a ball bearing for a buttery-smooth rotation
Minimalist design that complements the original accessory

Print Notes:
This part should be printed in PETG (or ABS) to prevent thermal deformation and oriented for with longest side vertical to ensure the inside bearing nubs are strong.

Assembly:

Parts are dimensioned for a press-fit of standard 608 ball bearings. Could take some force.

2x AMS transport screws can optionally be used to secure the brackets to the AMS (same system as the Flipper brackets)

I can only control the model I upload, and mine is for the original AMS. The other models are remixes and suppose to work for the newer models.

tweaked it to fit the AMS2 by combining it with another AMS2 Flipper Handle, and also increased radius of the 608 bearing shaft to 100.5% and it fits and works perfectly!

Great idea, unfortunately it doesn‘t fit the AMS 2 Pro.. with force it will „fit“ but I dont want to damage it even more.. maybe the radius needs some work.

Perfect, they fit my AMS2 pro perfectly. Slight play in the front part, but at least it doesn't force during assembly. Complements the flipper very well 👍
