Description
USB-C Charging hub for Gridfinity 3x7
This charging station is designed for the Gridfinity system (3x7 fields) and provides space for four USB-C ports. The print consists of two parts: the main body and a cover.
The USB-C ports (dimensions: 14 x 5.5 mm) can be easily clipped into the cover – for more stability, a drop of glue can also be used. Additionally, two WAGO terminals with 5 slots can be attached to the cover, through which the ports are connected to a power source.
For power supply, the main body has an 11 mm hole for a 12-volt socket. This allows the station to be operated externally with a suitable power supply unit.
Additionally, a magnet preparation for 6 x 2.5 mm magnets is integrated on the underside to securely fix the module in the Gridfinity system if needed.
The lightning symbol in the middle can optionally be printed multicolor (e.g., in yellow) or in a single color.
Due to its size, the print fits on larger print surfaces (e.g., H2D). For smaller printers, it can be produced in two parts.
Print notes:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 10–15 %
- 2–3 perimeters
- No support needed
