Regarding Custom Requests:

If you would like to submit a request in the comments for “Version 2” please feel free to leave a suggestion in the comments.

I WILL NOT DO ANY CUSTOM ADJUSTMENTS AT THIS TIME.

I receive dozens of these requests each week at this point, and I simply cannot spend all my time adjusting models that people are getting for free. If you have something you want done to a model, please message me privately and we will discuss my hourly rates. Thank you.

Recommended Settings:

settings.png

NOTE: The slicing software will tell you that there are errors in the mesh of the handle. DO NOT repair the mesh, as it will create an undesirable texture on the handle. The model will print just fine without repairing.

Infill:

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT use default infill settings. THE MODEL WILL BREAK!

The 3MF file included has been given the appropriate infill. If you are printing from the STL files, increase the infill to 25% with a gyroid pattern. For the ends where the screws and fittings are, apply a modifier and increase the infill to 60%.

Support:

Support only the screws on the end of the middle piece. Optionally, support the overhang inside of the handle.

Assembly:

The set is comprised of three (3) pieces.

PXL_20250827_161712928_resized.jpg

Each piece screws together.

PXL_20250827_161752148_resized.jpg

PXL_20250827_161837006_resized.jpg

Once you have tested that the pieces fit well, apply glue to the holes to stabilize the fit.

Looks epic! Both my children love them! I used CookieCad Silk Mermaid, Geeetech Silk Gold, and Bambu PLA Basic Purple. I also cut the gems off the hilt of the swords and printed separately and glued them back into place to reduce time and filament waste.

Thank you for the great design! Used the Illuminated variant. Made a few modifications - Added another segment to make it longer. Increased the hole depth on the screw to help prevent damaging the wires when screwing in the sword part. Used the DFRobot FIT0835 3V LED strip cut in half https://www.dfrobot.com/product-2399.html Below picture has the original print, and two of the longer light up versions. Turned out great! Also created a universal sword holster for mounting on the back or on the belt for those using this for costumes. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1917086

Fantastic design! Printed perfectly and the guide is excellent. Two suggestions. 1. The fragile end at the top breaks easily with young kids. This could be a screw top like the sword. 2. The blade - I would make the male screw on one side of the main blade and a female end on the other side. This way people can choose either two or 3 parts to the sword based on their height.

Thank you! Your suggestions duly noted, in fact I have encountered the issue you show in the picture myself. The screw top for easy replacement is a great suggestion, for now I think I will update the profile to include more wall loops at the top. I empolyed that fix myself, and it seems to have resolved the issue, I will also likely separate the jewels in a future version for those without an AMS. I have also received the same suggestion about the blade from others, and I will likely add that at some point as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to share and for giving your constructive feedback! 😊

no problem with taking time for feedback. This is a great print. Let me know when you’ve updated the print as I’ll try the strengthened handle.

Hi there. Do you still plan on making these updates? Also, is the 3MF file available anywhere? I dont really know how to change infill in specific areas.

Honestly, I don't know what causes that. I have noticed that happen in Creality's slicer and therefore on my prints that come off my K1C and K1 Max. I don't get that with my Bambu printers. I would be interested to see if the community has a solution.

Amazing print with clear instructions! Made this for my daughter who is going to be Rumi for Halloween. Printed this WITHOUT AMS and just programmed in pauses to switch between gold and purple. Printed at 70% scale to fit on my A1 Mini (and size is better for my kiddo)

What colors did you use for your sword? I love it!

Blade: AMOLEN Blue Pink White Silk PLA, but you need to print it laying down (if printed standing up, it gives banding, by design) Purple part of hilt: Purple Bambu Basic PLA Gold parts: Gold silk from GEEETECH (they make excellent silk PLA reasonably priced)

thanks i reinforced it with a wooden dowel down the center so little one has less chance of breaking it break it few spots on the blade are thin and can be seen but its worth the trade for strength

This came out great. It was an accessory for my Daughters K Pop Demon Hunters theme birthday where she was dressed up as Rumi. I used Poco pink marker to paint the groves of the blade lightly. Filament used were - Golden, Purple, Magenta Bambu PLA Basic and Light blue Bambu PLA Matte

@DavidsITGarage - Suggestion. Would it be possible to make the middle part of the sword from having two PEGS (screw in connectors) to only one PEG (near the handle) and one Hole.. And then making the top part as one with PEG. This way, if anyone who wants to extend the length of the sword can print 2 of the middle parts.

used an UV LED lamp to charge it, and lasted for ~3-4 minutes, then stayed illuminated for 5 hours. if you charge it with direct sunlight, it's better I think.
