Description

This is a multifunctional storage box for storing and transporting your trading card game cards and accessoires. It's great for bringing to TCG tournaments or just for storing your precious sleeved cards. It comes in a Normal version (18cm long, nice to handle and bring along, A1 Mini compatible) and a XL version (not A1 Mini compatible, good for storage).

It has some distinct features making it a great box to carry around:

  • Fits over 400 sleeved cards for the normal version, XL will fit well over 500, probably more.
  • Print dividers to seperate your cards or hold them together
  • Strong magnetic lid keeps the lid secure and gives it a good feel
  • Identify your box easily by putting a toploader in the front with a card in it (Fits well with a Ultra Pro 3"x4" toploader)
  • Cards don't protrude from the top of the box, keeping them safe from damage while opening/with a opened lid.
  • Fits generic penny sleeves (Ultra Pro etc.) but also the standard playable sleeves that come with for example Pokemon ETB sets
  • The modular dividers can also be replaced by extensions, that can for example hold your dice/markers
  • Leave enough empty room in the front and you can also use it to bring back your bought/won boosters from a tournament
  • You can use the dividers to move other cards around in the box to create space to get them out easily or look at them
  • Looks and feels good, the fit is well (not too tight so it damages cards, but also not too loose so things move around too much)

Just print the model and add some magnets to it. To use the magnetic feature you need 8x 6x3mm round magnets. The model has been designed to hold the magnets snugly into place (snap-fit) but it might require some good force to insert them and your magnets might not be the same as the ones I used. Insert the magnets into the inner holes within the box, add a single magnet on top of each of them and press the lid firmly in place.

I also released my first add-on, a magnetic accessoires box for the Pokemon TCG to bring your dice and markers along as well.

Boost Me (for free)

I've spend quite some time on creating and especially fine-tuning this model so that it's just right. Several spools of filament were consumed to prototype and improve until the fit was good and it passed my approval. If you've enjoyed this model and want me te create more like this a boost is very appreciated!

Printed it last night. Everything fits perfectly and has a really great feel. The indented sides make it easy to pack around and the magnetic top is really nice. I highly recommend for multiple decks or random cards. I printed the extra-long one and I'm sure I'll be printing more. I didn't alter the print a bit. Just imported for my X1-C and picked a color to match the deck and hit print. Well done! If I had any Boosts left, I would use them here.

I have no clue, how anyone thinks this is an adequate design. I really wanted to like this model, as it seemed like a good model. Structurally it fell apart on the bed as i picked it up, and as I held it just got worse. The walls and base of this could never support 50 cards let alone hundreds. I printed it as the XL version shows in the app. Even if you printed this with 100 infil there is not enough material to structurally keep the frame and the sides together to protect your cards.

Not sure what happened there 😅It is def. not supposed to be like that and it should easily hold all the cards. i’ve printed this one myself many times and it always came out good (the smaller version is more firm but even with the XL it should not fall apart like this at all). What filament did you use? I’m puzzled

If you look at all the other comments you can absolutely tell this is not a model problem. It's a you problem (meaning bad slicer config, low quality and/or very humid/deteriorated filament, printer needing calibration or maintenance in general etc.)

I absolutely love this box for storing my Lorcana cards. Everything prints wonderfully! I would love if there was a matching box to store all of my deck boxes in! that way I could keep my card storage shelves nice and tidy!

Nice model! Prints really well. I added a brim to help with warping, there’s not a lot of space for it on the A1 Mini, but it helped a bit. It still warped slightly in the end, but that’s fine. The only "issue" I noticed is that since the cards don’t stick out, it’s a bit tricky to pull them out of the box. Also, a stackable version would be awesome, like one lid for the top box, and then the lower boxes could stack using the top holes and a small cylinder that fits into both the top holes and some matching holes on the bottom.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve had no warping issues on my P1S but I do print the spacers on the A1 mini with the supertack plate which works great. I tried a stackable design but couldn’t find something that looked nice and printed well too without compromise.

These boxes are amazing! They fit the cards so well, and the dividers work great. It's a nice sturdy box. Even without magnets the lid closes nicely and stays in place. I plan to print many more to sort my bulk. I just need a few hard sleeves for the front display, regular are too small.

I am new to the hobby and I printed the normal version with PLA on my Ender 3 V3 SE and it's perfect. I haven't put magnets on I would love to know where everyone gets them and which ones to use.
