DIY shims / packers Are very useful thing to have in your toolbox used to help align furniture door frames windows or anything that you are trying to install and you want to get them plum ( level). I've used them many times in the construction industry and around the home but now that I'm retired and I don't particularly wish to have thousands on hand is quite handy to be able to just print a few when I need them I've designed these in the standard sizes between 1 to 5 mm.

 Also designed them to be easily snappable into four pieces to have smaller parts when you only want or have a small area to pack.

 

The main Shim is in U shape which helps if you want to hook them onto a screw before tightening back.

 The Pre sliced model is a set of one of each Packer but this is easily altered if you wish to do multiples of each size if you would like help with this I could always set up different versions if wished. I do hope you find it useful and if there are any changes you wish I could always make them too.
