Description

Description:
This is a 3D-printed ergonomic knob designed to fit standard M6 bolts and nuts. The spiral surface pattern provides an improved grip, making it easy to tighten and loosen by hand.

The design includes a hexagonal cavity that securely holds either an M6 nut or the head of an M6 bolt, turning them into reusable hand knobs. Perfect for jigs, fixtures, furniture, or any project that requires quick adjustments.

Features:

  • Fits M6 bolts and nuts
  • Comfortable spiral grip design
  • Works with both bolt-head and nut capture configurations
  • Easy to print without supports
  • Modular and reusable

Assembly:

  1. Insert an M6 nut or bolt head into the hexagonal cavity of the knob.
  2. Push-fit or lightly tap into place for a secure hold, use superglue to fix it.
  3. Use the assembled knob as a hand-tightening fastener.

Print Settings (recommended):

  • Material: PLA / PETG / ABS
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 25–40% for strength
  • No supports needed
