Description
This is my own design for Finn's Scarlet Sword from Adventure Time. I have been iterating on this model for a few years now, originally only stabilized with a wooden rod down the middle, but now it supports being glued with pegs only. I still recommend using the wooden rod down the middle for better strength, but the entire model can be just assembled with 3D printed parts if you prefer. The handle is left slightly thinner and I recommend wrapping it with a leather wrap, gives it a finished look.
For this build, I recommend using the following filaments and parts:
Bambu PLA Basic Sunflower Yellow (10402) - Blade and Pegs
Bambu PLA Basic Black (10101) - Hilt, Handle, Pommel
Bambu PLA Basic Maroon Red (10205) - Pommel Gems
SCI Grip 16 Fast Set, clear medium bodied solvent cement - Used for gluing the PLA parts together. This dries fast and fuses the parts together so work quickly once applied, I recommend gluing the pegs in to one side of the parts first.

(Optional, but will make the finished product stronger) Wooden Dowel (7/16 in, Home Depot) - I run this rod through the entire model, using the JBL Kwik Weld to attached the wooden rod to the PLA Parts
(Optional) JBL Weld Kwik Weld - Only needed if you are using a wooden rod.
