🧵 Why I Designed This

I created this floss organizer for my partner, who has fully caught the cross-stitching bug. After watching countless hours of stitching and sorting, one thing became painfully clear—most floss organizers out there are about as exciting as watching paint dry. There is no flair, no imagination, just rows of dull plastic pretending to be helpful.

So I decided to change that. I wanted something that felt fun and functional and would bring a little joy to the stitching process. That is where the butterfly shape came in, along with a built-in needle minder for those much-needed breaks. No more scrambling to find a needle that has mysteriously vanished into the couch cushions or been claimed by our furry little mischief maker, who seems to think anything small and shiny is a toy.

To date, I have not seen another floss organizer that includes a needle minder. It felt like a simple but meaningful way to make stitching smoother and more enjoyable. This design is a small gesture of love and practicality, brightening the workspace and keeping the essentials where they belong.
