Description
This is a 1:10 scale 3D printed model of Oppenheimer’s Atomic bomb – “Fat Man”
I was fascinated with the insane engineering and mathematical challenges behind the development of this atomic weapon so I designed and made a detailed model of it.
The model features all the main components of the real bomb, including the Internal Neutron Initiator, Plutonium Sphere, Uranium 238 Sphere, etc. all the way to the Armor Shell – and can be assembled/disassembled.
