Description

🌊⚓ The Bireme of the Gods ⚓🌊

In the age when mortals and gods still walked the same world, the Greek Bireme was more than a ship — it was a symbol of divine power.

According to legend, these vessels sailed under the watchful eye of Poseidon, God of the Sea. Warriors believed that when the waves raged and storms broke loose, it was Poseidon himself testing their courage. The sharp bronze ram at the prow was said to be blessed by Ares, God of War, so that every strike could shatter the enemy's fate.

Now, you can bring this legendary warship of gods and heroes into your own collection — recreated in stunning detail, ready to conquer time itself. 🏺⚔️

✨ Why this model is useful

  • Historically inspired: based on a Greek Bireme, a legendary warship from the 6th century BC.
  • Detailed crew: 50 oarsmen seated in two rows (25 on each side) plus around 10 additional soldiers.
  • Functional details: forward ram, two stern rudders, and a removable mast and sail — just like the real ship, which took down its mast and sail in combat for maximum maneuverability.
  • Two scales included: build the 1:72 or the larger 1:55 version (about 60cm).

🔧 How to build

  • Assembly instructions are included.
  • The ship features 50 oars, so patience is key — but the final result is absolutely worth it.
  • You'll only need glue and some string/cord for the rigging.
  • The sail in the pictured version was printed from TPU, but you can also craft one from fabric for an authentic touch.

💡 In battle, the oarsmen would abandon their oars for shields and swords — this model lets you display the ship at either moment of the story.
