Dial Indicator Stand
Print Profile(3)

Description
A simple, robust, and functional bench dial indicator stand!
I printed this dial indicator stand and was very satisfied with the result. The print gave me no problems. The stability of the finished piece is excellent, it can be positioned on the bench using a clamp. The base is wide and stable enough, and the holes on the are an excellent addition for those who wish to securely fix it to a work surface, further increasing stability.
The movable arm slides smoothly on the vertical pin, and the tightening knobs are easy to screw on and offer a firm grip. The locking mechanism holds both the arm and the dial indicator perfectly in place.
I did not need supports, and the geometry of the piece lends itself well to a clean and fast print. I printed it in PLA, but I am sure that other materials like PETG or ABS would also work great, perhaps offering greater strength.
2 M6 and M5 hex screws approximately 20mm long with their dedicated hex nuts are needed.
