Bambu Carbon Filter Adapter

This is an adapter for the current Bento Box carbon filter enclosure that allows you to use the standard carbon filter that Bambu supply at low cost: https://eu.store.bambulab.com/products/activated-carbon-air-filter

I found that buying activated acid free carbon pellets is actually a bit of a pain in the ass, surprisingly expensive, and relatively messy to use. As Bambu already provides a carbon filter, it seemed like a good idea to make this adapter.

The model can be printed off without supports. If you have already printed off the Bento Box, the carbon filter adapter can be inserted into the current Bento Box Carbon Filter enclosure.

This carbon filter adapter has been fitted with M3 screws and heat inserts, rather than magnets as, due to the orientation of the filter, it is important to ensure a very good seal around the top of the enclosure to get optimum air flow.

I have extended the M3 screw holes in the model down below the level of the M3 heat inserts so that you can use any length of M3 screw you have hanging around (as long as it is over 10mm).

As an added bonus, the extraction fans that are recommended to be used with this model come with x8 M3 screws, but the design only calls for the use of x4 of them, leaving x4 spare, so even if you don't have an M3 screws hanging around, you can use the ones supplied with the fans.
