YF-23 "Black Widow II" Kit
Print Profile(3)

Description
Add to your collection a marvel of flight, the elusive YF-23 “Black Widow II”!
The YF-23, nicknamed the “Black Widow II”, is considered to be one of the greatest fighter jets to have never entered production. The twin-engine aircraft was a revolution in engineering, possessing unique features like the V-shaped “ruddervators” at the rear of the plane.
A favorite platform of speculation for aircraft enthusiasts, the YF-23 was designed by Northrop Grumman and McDonald Douglas to compete in the U.S. Air Force Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition to choose the future of U.S. fighter aircraft. Despite demonstrating superior speed and stealth, the YF-23 lost the Air Force selection to the more maneuverable YF-22, later the F-22 Raptor.
The YF-23 kit model is designed to fit perfectly in a collection with the other brilliantly designed aircraft kits created by Makers World creators. The design is the first in my proposed Revenant Series, meant to highlight exceptional aircraft with limited or no production run. If you like the design and would like to see more aircraft added to the series, please be sure to add a like!
The model in the print profile is approximately 1:100th scale.

- No supports required, the design is ready to print as-is.
