10 x 3 mm magnets x 9: Put to 9, depending on how strong you want the attachment to the ice maker.

Description

We had been hanging our ice scoop from a hook under the cabinet when my wife asked if I could make a holder for it on the side of the ice maker. Fired up Fusion and came up with this. Uses up to qty 9 10x3mm magnets that I had on hand. Press in as many as you need for the strength you are looking for. I used all 9 and it is super strong on the side of our GE Opal Ice Maker.

Doesn't fit the scoop.

Send a picture please. Do you have the GE Profile Opal? Model Number and manufacture date would be helpful to figure out why you scoop doesn't fit. You are the only person to say this.

Yes, purchased the GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker this weekend. Needed a holder for the scoop. The holder is small and the scoop will fall out if bumped, even pushing in the ice container was enough for it to fall out. Scoop is clear and rounded same as in other holder profiles.

Your scoop must be a different size. If it doesn’t fit like the scoop in the pic, then the size is different. let me know and I can make a larger holder.

looks and works awesome. the magnets didn’t even need glue they were a perfect press fit

My wife is happy. That's all you need to know. She walked into my office and said can you print something to hold the scoop for our Opal. I searched, I found, I printed. that's it. simple.
