Death Stranding

The Q-PID is an item from Death Stranding and Sam Bridges' necklace. The necklace features a series of links depicting various physical equations.

The Q-PID allows Sam to feed cities and outposts into the Chiral Network, thus connecting them. It was developed by Mama and Lockne, with Mama responsible for the hardware and Lockne for the software.

The chain also receives the necessary security and operational protocols, which are connected to the Chiral Network in some locations.
