A very simple design, without moving parts. The pole locks into place when you slide it in and move it down.

If you want to have move security that it will not slide out when it is windy, you can also slide in a 70mm long nail or screw (3mm) to lock it (see picture with the nail inserted). That's probably never needed, but you have the option.

Use an UV resistant filament like ASA. PETG would also be a good choice.

You don't need screws, just use a good double sided outdoor tape (I used 3M VHB).
