Description

I Ching Tokens – carry the rhythm of change in your pocket

Small, solid, and irresistibly tactile: these tokens with Bagua trigrams are made for that moment when one pauses, breathes, and asks a question. Yin and yang lines emerge in relief, crisp to the eye and to the touch, so consulting becomes a natural gesture: cast, read, reflect.

Why print them?

  • A pocket oracle always at hand, elegant on the desk and ready at the table with friends.
  • To discover (or rediscover) the I Ching, the “Book of Changes”: it doesn’t predict; it guides, offering images and advice that illuminate the decision of the moment.

How to use

  • Think of a clear question.
  • Cast the three coins. Assign solid line = 3 (yang), broken line = 2 (yin).
  • Add the values: 6/8 yields a yin line, 7/9 a yang line; 6 and 9 are “changing” lines.
  • Repeat 6 times from bottom to top to form the hexagram. If there are changing lines, also read the resulting hexagram. That’s where the message unfolds.

For printing

  • Using AMS? Choose the multicolor profile: base and symbols in two clearly separated colors for strong contrast and a premium look.
  • Printing without AMS? The single-color profile is ready: fast, clean prints, perfect as-is or with a quick acrylic pass in the grooves.
  • Separate STLs included: coin disc and the two-sided symbols, so customization, remixing, or swapping marks is easy.

These are tokens to keep in a pocket, to gift, and to use whenever an inner compass is needed. Print today, cast tonight, and be surprised by how change speaks through them.
