So that you can close your drill chuck smoothly and even more tightly, I have modeled these handles

! The handle is for the key of a 1.5mm-16mm keyed drill chuck on my drill press !

Assembly:

  • The parts are assembled with a press fit
  • first align one of the handle pieces and use a hammer to mount it
  • continue with a hammer, vice, press, (drill press can be used as a press) to push the handle piece all the way on
  • Repeat the same with the 2nd part

I hope the handle piece can help you further

Excellent. I knew it was the wrong size for my chuck key, so I measured mine down to the 0.1mm, sized it in Bambu slicer and nailed the friction fit on the first go. Already much nicer to use with these arthritic old hands! Thanks!
