Description
This is a recreation of a 5in 38 caliber projectile. The main body comes in 3 parts, top, middle, bottom. They simply slide together and can be glued to secure them. Additionally, there is a projectile fuze which can be used in place of, or placed over, the top of the projectile. The image displayed shows two projectiles, one with the standard top piece, the other with the fuze cover. Obviously, these have been sanded, primed and painted to mimic WWII shells. These files were generated for use by the volunteers on board the USS CASSIN YOUNG, a WWII Navy Destroyer Museum ship located at the Boston Navy Yard.
