Glock Box Handle Lock. Glock boxes have no way to lock and secure the box. Where other manufacturers do. Most should understand if someone wants to get into a plastic lock, they will, and pistols should have an additional chamber or be stored in a proper safe. This only adds an additional level of security when no safe is available, especially during transport.

There are two different versions for this design. A larger full handle lock and a mini handle lock. You can print each part in any direction you deem strongest. You can even change the colors of each half to make them unique. I have also provided .3mf files.

The design consists of three parts:

  • Part one of the lock
  • Part two of the lock
  • The pin for combining the hinge of part one and part two

There is an additional part that is just a cap for the hinge so you can put a 7.5mm metal rod in the middle over a plastic rod. Just cut a hair less than 52mm for Full Lock and a hair less than 28mm for Mini Lock. Something like this would suffice: Round Steel Rod, 7.5mm

You will need supports and my prints are made of PLA, but I'm sure it will also work with other materials. ASA/ABS might just need to account for the extra shrinkage, so perhaps 101%.

I added a single drop of super glue gel to the bottom of the hinge of the first part for extra holding power.

This is the lock I used for my tests. However, others should be fine if they measure less than 7.5mm in diameter and 16mm in length for the metal locking hook.

I found this impressive system on Printables. Many thanks
