Mecha Pokemon Series ‧ Mewtwo Full-Body Statue
Concept & Design
This design reimagines Mewtwo as a futuristic mecha warrior. Its iconic organic form is armored with sharp mechanical plating and intricate technological details. The sweeping curve of its massive tail remains faithful to the original silhouette, while the armored body transforms it into a cold, commanding presence. This is not just Mewtwo reborn—it is elevated into the vision of an ultimate combat machine.
Engineering & Printability
Special care was taken to balance structure and 3D printability. The proportions of each body part were meticulously refined to ensure both accuracy and stability, with the tail engineered to act as a natural counterbalance for the figure. The mechanical details print crisply, allowing builders to achieve a high-quality result that captures the model’s complexity and strength. This thoughtful approach ensures the design is both rewarding to create and visually impactful once complete.
Display & Customization
Whether displayed unpainted or fully customized, this Mewtwo statue shines in any collection. In its raw form, the mechanical lines and armored silhouette stand out with clarity. Painted, it offers endless creative possibilities—metallic tones can highlight its mecha identity, while purples and dark shades can emphasize its mysterious psychic aura. This versatility makes it a canvas for both collectors and hobby painters alike.
Conclusion
As a centerpiece of the Mecha Pokémon Series, the full-body Mewtwo statue combines iconic character design with futuristic mechanical style. It carries both visual impact and thoughtful engineering, making it a perfect piece for display, collection, and custom painting. This is a must-have for fans of Pokémon, mecha, and 3D printing artistry.
To improve Mewtwo’s balance during display, I added rear heel claws inspired by the foreclaw design of the Gundam Barbatos. This adjustment allows the model to stand more securely, countering the weight distribution from its large tail.

Please note that the photos shown here still feature the earlier version without the heel claws, which required clay support at the feet during photography to maintain stability. Rest assured, the print files and 3MF configurations now provided already include the updated heel claw design, ensuring the model can stand firmly and display at its best.
Quick tip: Using needle-nose pliers and Bambu's scraper FAC002-N will make it easier to remove and clean up support contact surfaces!
