Geocache Container Box Beehive

Hello Geocachers,

I like creative 3D Printed geocache boxes. I hid a cache on a children's forest adventure trail and wanted to incorporate the bee theme in an informative and illustrative way

On Printables.com I then found a very nice beehive model by 3DPrinter Dude

I then adapted the print profile to my needs and scaled it down a bit. The original was huge and thus difficult to hide

The total height of my basket remix is approximately 16 cm, and the diameter is approximately 9cm. The effectively fillable height is still a spacious 9cm. Easy to hide and still enough space for trade items, Travel Bugs, and a large logbook

It was important to me that the box is also marked as an official Geocache, so I engraved it with the text “Official Geocache” on the back. If you don't like it, you can simply remove it (To do this, click on objects and search for the text shape and simply remove it)

To decorate it a bit more, I glued on some small bees: The ones I used can be found here on MakerWorld by DuckyPrinted: https://makerworld.com/de/models/585812-cute-articulated-chubby-baby-bee?from=search#profileId-507013

I scaled them to 208.79% to fit my beehive (so that each bee is 3cm long)

I used normal tree supports and printed with PLA Wood (Rosewood) so it's not so noticeable on the tree

Take your time and carefully remove the supports, especially where the thread is, so it doesn't get damaged
