Inspired by the timeless charm of antique oil lamps, this modern design brings a colorful and elegant twist to a classic source of light.
This lamp was designed for electric tea lights with a diameter of up to 40mm and heights from 17-27mm. It was designed for translucent filament, but I also made a version with meshed shade that can be printed from only regular filament. It's printed in multiple parts - you don't need an AMS for printing.
The tea light color has a big impact on the appliance of this lamp. With green, blue or purple shades for example, cold white tea lights will work a lot better than warm yellow / white.
Disclaimer: This design can only be used with electric tea lights!
Printing
No special settings needed for printing. I enabled a brim for the shade. You can print it without at your own risk if you know your setup is well maintained and you build plate is clean.
I tested this design with Translucent PLA from Bambu Lab. Some Translucent filaments may need different settings. The clear screen was printed from Translucent PETG with a constant fan speed at 30% (Turn off "Force cooling for overhangs and bridges").
Assembly
All parts simply screw together, no tools are required for assembly.
