Description

Update. there is a new version 3.0 of this available here.  https://makerworld.com/en/models/2049337-v3-makita-festool-track-compatible-router-base#profileId-2236590 same grate design as this one but with added functionality.

This router base plate fits makita tracks and uses the adjustable fence tightening knob provided by the manufacturer to adjust out the slop for a tighter fit.  This plate can also be used as a mini extended base.

Note. There are no threads designed in, I just used the knob to make threads, it worked ok for me.

It also fits in the Makita packout insert without removing it from the router.  That can be found here.

The screws you recommended were super helpful. Was happy with how well they self taped and tightened up the slack against the makita track. I prefer this 2.0 design so I can use my standard dust extraction. It fit the screws on the Makita palm router perfectly. The hole for the router bits was very well done as well. I dropped the Makita logo on the top for a more finished look and "painted" it in the slicer with white. I printed the whole thing in Polymaker PLA-HT.

I was surprised how well the self taping design was able to tighten up any slack on my Makita track.
