Star Trek TOS Phaser (Type1) EZ

This started out as a remix of Mr Scott's remix of Shipbrook and UnimatrixReds Type 1. But I modified almost every part to make it easier to assemble and print. All the parts now snap together in just a few minutes without the need for glue.

Build Notes:
This was made to press fit together instead of using glue. So I made the tolerances really tight. Hopefully not too tight! Let me know if you can't make a peg fit with a little gentle pressure. 

All the parts should press into the body via attached pegs. The pegs should push in with a firm but gentle pressure. And only come out with a tug (or better yet not at all). 

Make sure when you are pressing the parts together you are applying pressure directly on the peg. In most cases that is easy but with a few parts it is easy to push wrong and break them. See below.

• Be careful removing the trim from the build plate. it is thin and will warp if it isn't cool enough.
• -The "screen" presses in at angle and NOT straight down. If you try to press is straight it will break. Look at it from the side while gently pressing with your thumb directly over the peg. Twisting it back and forth a little as you push helps it go in easier. Also, make sure the peg is clean of support material.
• -The "display" (the only part with two pegs) is also a little fragile. Make sure you are pressing with both thumbs on the pegs evenly.  
• It has a hole in the back for 2x 5mm magnets that will let it attach to my upcoming Type 2 remix. You can just use the provide plug if you don't have magnets.
