I redesigned it with a different pattern and printed with SUNLU PLA+. This kind of PLA doesn't hold back water. The water passes through the base dripping out. This doesn't seem to happen with PETG. Any solution to use PLA? I would like to use PLA because you can find more colors and finishes.

Increase layer line width, lower layer height, slower print and dry filament. But there is not guarantee :/ I bought a spray can of clear coat (non soluble) for all prints that need to hold liquid.

I do it with 4 layers and 5% filling, in the pots what matters are the layers, so the water does not pass through the material

Wife loves the design, hopefully going with PLA won’t ruin them over time after watering them, but seems to be pretty sturdy so far!

Thanks! I've had plants in ones made from PLA for a couple years now with no issues. You should be good. Enjoy!

super print, I need to redesign wall holder, I don't know why the side adjacent to the wall has a groove. this makes the screw hole one layer thick. it is not able to hold the pot.

I also dont understand why he would recess that part, In bambu studio it shows it recessed....best to leave if flush with wall...if you put screw in it, there will be a void between the wall and the mounting plate....I will redesign this, also not make the mounting plate round, just nice and slim.

Can you tell me how you converted it to petg? I’m new and trying to learn. Do I need change settings in Bambu studio OR can I do it from the iPhone app? Or have you shared a printable file of it? Sorry. Literally my 3rd print ever. Trying to educate myself. Thank you!

love the print but could you add a little support to the piece that the pot slides into on the wall part I had to print 2 of them soon as I mounted the pot just barely put a little tension on it to see the hold and the right side split and the pot tumbled to the ground. Again it's a beautifull design im just scared to add dirt and a plant into it rite now thinking it might break due to the weight pulling downward
