Airbus A320 Rudder Pedal Footrest

Description
A set of parts to create a replica of the Airbus A320 footrest between the rudder pedals. Design is for mounting on Thrustmaster TPR pedals, but could be used or adapted for other pedal mechanisms.
Unlike my other models, the footrest is similar, rather than being totally dimensionally accurate. This is driven by the width and height of the Thrustmaster TPRs. Design includes a dummy adjustment lever and display window.
Parts are printed in Matte Blue PLA. I used 50% infill, 5 walls since they need to be strong enough to put your feet on. Assembled footrest is very rigid.
Once printed, M4 6mm brass heat inserts should be fitted in all large holes on joining tabs. 5 small and one large joining strips are used with 10mmM4 screws to assemble the main section. Top section is similarly fitted with M4 heat inserts and 10mm M4 screws.
Ribbed rubber matting should be glued into recess on two footrest holders with contact adhesive. A cut template can be printed to aid cutting to correct size. These rubber holders are then fitted to main housing with m4 heat inserts and 10mm M4 chamfer head screws. These are different left and right, to match the corner curve of the main housing.
Dummy adjustment window and circular lever boss are fitted with M3 screws. Adjustment lever is then glued in place, with label glued in recess.
Adjustment window is designed to be cut from 3mm clear perspex. DXF file is provided for CNC cutting. A SVG file for printing the label is included in .ZIP file
Complete assembly is attached to TPR pedals with M4 screws at rear (two 4.5mm holes need to be drilled in metal frame) and using hot glue at the top, using the included wedge between top plastic section and recessed top of the TPR tower. Not super elegant, but fixes housing firmly in place without major modifications to TPR.
