Description
The Firefly Rocket Lamp is a unique and interesting light that harnesses the quality's of translucent filaments to cast a uniquely realistic glow. Powered by the KC018 Tea Light the Firefly features a realistic flame animation which truly brings the room to life either from your desk with its smoke stand diffuser softly dispersing the flame within or hanging from your roof powering its way ahead with its distinctive layered flame.
Key Features
Real Flickering Fire Animation - Like a true Firefly this Rocket Lamp makes full use of its translucent filaments and light source to create a realistic flickering effect of true fire from the animation of the KC018 Tea Light.
Fully 3D Printable - No supports required, No AMS required and No hardware or extra parts (except for the tea light).
Twist Grip system - All parts of the rocket fit together with a twist grip which constricts as the parts are twisted clockwise and locks them all together with friction making the process of turning the tealight on and off that much easier. (All parts except for the base use twist grip which allows the rocket to rotate for various viewing angles and features a place-hook design).
Translucent Flame - Capitalises on the properties of translucent filament to display its inner core layer with the help of the fuzzy skin.
Smoke Stand - Diffuses the flame thanks to the translucent filament and fuzzy texture, allowing for the rocket to be positioned on the desk as if is taking off and also allows for the rocket to be rotated 360 degrees for the perfect viewing angle without coming undone thanks to the place-hook design.
Roof Mount - Displays the rocket, highlighting the burning flame and its unique inner layer and allows for easy the roof mounting with the twist grip system in the nose cone making it easy to attach to the rocket the roof and take back down to turn off again.
Lighting Requirements
The KC018 Tea Light powers the Firefly and truly brings it to life through its warm flickering animation that powerfully emulates the thrust produced by the rocket. It is slots into the rockets nozzle with a perfect press fit thanks to its three pronged grip. (Note: If you have already have a tealight but it is too small it will still work but you may want to fasten it to the inside of the nozzle with double sided tape).

Recommendations
- Allow all parts to cool down before removing from the printer and assembling (ensures tolerances are optimal and aren't affected by part shrinkage).
- Print with no supports (they aren't required thanks to model design).
- Print with the fuzzy skin to add texture and realism.
- Print the flame in PLA Translucent Orange (13301) and the smoke cloud in PLA Translucent Mellow Yellow (13410). However, Bambu's other translucent filaments such as PETG would work well too.
Assembly Guide
Firefly Rocker Lamp Assembly
This is relatively simple where you just press the portholes together and into the rocket body and then twist twist all the parts together clockwise into their respective positions as outlined by the GIF below.
Steps: (Press porthole glass into window seals, press the assembled portholes into the rocket body, press nose cone coupler into the nose cone, twist nose assembly onto the nose of the rocket body, press tea light into the rocket nozzle, twist the flame into the nozzle, turn the tea light on, twist the nozzle until it grips the rocket body and place it on the smoke stand ensuring it hooks in at the back for stability).

Roof mounting system Assembly
With the two nose cones both with the hole (required for roof mounting), one nose cone coupler, a form of adhesive and the 0.6mm nylon cord.
Steps: (Tie 4-5 knots on one end of the string, thread through nose cone partially, press nose cone coupler on, pull string all the way through, trim excess, thread through the second nose cone, tie 4-5 knots, cut excess and pull tight).
