Description

Step back in time with this charming and authentic model of a 150-year-old English cottage. Based on a real 19th-century property, "Church Cottage," located in the South East of England, this model is perfect for adding a touch of historical realism to your projects.

This model was originally designed as a bespoke gift for a client to celebrate their beautiful home, and now I'm sharing its timeless character with the wider community.

(Key Features)

  • Authentic Victorian Architecture: Faithfully captures the proportions, multi-pane windows, and prominent chimneys of the era.
  • Highly Detailed: Features realistic roof tiling and structural details that look fantastic right off the print bed.
  • Perfect for Historical Settings: An ideal centrepiece for steam-era model railway layouts, historical dioramas, and rural scenes.
  • AMS/Multi-Colour Ready: Comes with a pre-painted 3MF file (or suggest color swaps) for an easy multi-colour print (e.g., stone walls, slate roof, white windows).

(Ideal For)

  • Steam-Era & Heritage Model Railway Layouts (OO, HO, N Gauge)
  • Historical Dioramas (e.g., Victorian England)
  • Tabletop Wargaming Scenery
  • Architectural collectors and "Cottagecore" enthusiasts.
  • A beautiful standalone decorative piece.

(Printing & Painting Recommendations)

  • Print Profile: Use the provided .3mf for a seamless print on your Bambu Lab printer.
  • Filament: PLA / PLA+ is ideal. A matte filament in stone or off-white would look superb.
  • Layer Height: 0.16mm for great results, or 0.12mm for capturing the finest details.
  • Supports: No supports required.
  • AMS Colour Scheme: For a classic cottage look:
    • Slot 1: Off-White or Light Stone PLA (for Walls)
    • Slot 2: Dark Grey or Slate PLA (for the Roof)
    • Slot 3: White PLA (for Window Frames & Door)

(Scaling Guide for Model Railways) To match your specific layout scale, resize the model in Bambu Studio before slicing:

  • OO Gauge (1:76): Scale to 75%
  • HO Scale (1:87): Scale to 66%
  • N Gauge (1:148): Scale to 39%
