Description

GLASS BLOCK LAMP

This is my custom 3D-printed lamp, inspired by the iconic glass block designs from the 80s.

  • The main body is printed in Bambu Lab PETG (olive), with a black PLA base and a black PETG lid for better heat resistance.
  • Vent holes on the bottom lid keep it cool while the warm light shines through the textured surface.
  • The whole lamp is designed to snap together without glue, making assembly simple. If you want to make it permanent, just a small amount of superglue will do
  • The front panels need a touch of glue to hold them in place.
  • It uses Bambu Lab LED light kit

I plan to create more interchangeable front panels in the future, including a minimal block design and a version with a stand that supports a standard bulb.

This piece is part of my learning journey in 3D printing and design, and I’m excited to keep refining it as I go! If you’d like to support my work and help me keep creating new designs, you can do so here:
