Pure mechanical satisfaction. No electronics, just gears.
This remix integrates my WaveDial mechanical dimmer base with the official Bambu Lab LED LAMP 001. By rotating the dial, an iris-style aperture opens and closes, smoothly controlling the light output—silent, precise, and oddly addictive.

Print Profile Notes

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Materials:
  • PLA, to achieve better dimming effect use dark color for the slider
• Supports:
  • Required for inner base surfaces
  • Best with Bambu Support Filament for clean breakaway on sliding surfaces
  • Alternative: dual-material support (PLA body + PETG support, or vice versa)
• Brim: 10 mm for small slider and guide parts
• Speed: slower for gears (smoother finish), standard speed acceptable for shorter print times
• Tolerance: designed for standard printers; if too tight, lightly sand or use dry PTFE/silicone lubrication
