Description
Checkpoint / Guard Shack for 1:12 Action Figures
Guard Shack (very) loosely based on the classic “Check Point Alpha” from GI Joe. I actually looked up a real guard shack for a US military base and used that for partial inspiration. The gate bar with stop sign pivots up and down with stops designed into its base to hold it in the up or down positions. The fit on this joint is fairly snug however to try to prevent it from working its way out or falling down unexpectedly. You may have to “work” yours in a bit.
All parts fit together nicely, but as with my other diorama models, do not snap securely. That is to allow for a small amount of variation with others' printers and filaments. It does sit stably on the shelf with no glue, just like the guard tower. You, of course, have the option to glue yours.
