A 3D model of Gary the Snail from SpongeBob SquarePants, designed as a keychain charm.
This model features Gary’s recognizable shell and expressive eyes mounted on stalks. A small keyring hole is integrated on his back for easy attachment. The design captures the cartoon’s charm with smooth, cute shapes and accurate colors.

- Top/Bottom Thickness: 0.8–1 mm (4–5 layers)
- Infill: 20–30% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended)
- Supports: Everywhere for eye stalks; Touching Build Plate for other areas
- Support Density: 10–15%
- Support Overhang Angle: 60°
- Horizontal Distance: 0.2–0.3 mm
- Vertical Distance (Z Gap): 0.2 mm
- Brim: 5–8 mm recommended for bed adhesion
- Print Speed: 50 mm/s (Outer Walls 25–30 mm/s)
- Travel Speed: 120–150 mm/s
- Material: PLA (200–210 °C, Bed 60 °C) or PETG (240–250 °C, Bed 70–75 °C)
- Cooling Fan: 50–100% after 2–3 layers
💡 Extra Tips:
- Rotate the model so the base is flat on the build plate.
- Use Support Blocker for the keyring hole if you don’t want it filled with supports.
- Eye stalks require supports (Everywhere) to print cleanly.
- Brim helps prevent warping for small prints like keychains.
