Spacers for Decking Boards
Print Profile(0)
Description
For my deck construction with wooden boards, I had ordered too few spacers .
The spacers serve, on the one hand, as a distance to the substructure to prevent stagnant moisture and direct contact with the decking board, thereby creating ventilation to prevent premature rotting of the wood. The second function is to ensure an even distance between the wooden boards to achieve a uniform joint pattern.
My designed variant is simply functional and quick to print. Water drainage in the holder was also taken into account, of course.
I have created two variants with joint spacing of 4mm and 7mm.
For support at the edges, half spacers are used.
I printed the prototypes in PLA and the originals in PETG.
