Description
A reinforced version of the original part from 118 Design.
The original is made of aluminum and can easily withstand the load of a strong spring. If it is made of PLA, it breaks after approx. 50-200 cycles, depending on which spring is used.
This version has a higher wall proportion and chamfers and curves which minimize the predetermined breaking points.
After printing, I heated and hardened the push rod on the 3mm axle rod with a lighter for about 5 minutes.
(do not let it get too hot, always turn it a little and maintain a temperature of approx. 80-100 °C)
Afterwards, the material warped and had to be reworked a little with a file.
But now, in the end, it holds what it should without breaking.
