Description

I wanted to tidy up the rear of the IR40 body, and add some wiremanagement.

  • Bed cover snaps on the front, and passes through the rollcage. No permanent mods needed.
  • Wire management integrated into bottom side of bed cover for your wiring
  • Tons of room to use reciever space if you're able to use a lay down style reciever or esc.

Also check out my other IR accessories such as sliders and chase racks.

Install Instructions:

Remove the two 0.050" screws that hold the rear rollcage on. Gently lift them up, and set the rollcage through the bed holes. Then replace the rollcage bars and re-attach the screws to fasten it to place.

Now gently snap the front over the existing sidebars of the bed. They will snap down securely. (this fit is tight so it wil stay in place, a silk PLA might not be able to work here).

Optional Step - Wire Management

There's two slots for Zip ties on the bottom so you can secure your wires for the tail lights, or whatever else you have back there. Reminder, this hinges with the body.

I believe you're asking about the holes at the rear of the bed cover. They are there to allow the roll cage to pass through. You unscrew the cage, install bed cover, and re-install the cage.

No, I printed both bed covers and one has 3 extra holes but I can't figure out what the 3 extra holes are for.

I do like the design and appreciate it, with that said the front part where it clips into the cage should be underneath and clip to the side on the inside of the cage if possible. furthermore the whole bed cover needs to be lowered about 1mm so there is no gap between the cage and the cover. maybe a V2 version could be released and it would be 100% perfect. I hope 😁👍 it would look so much better thank you for the design, much appreciated.
