Description

###  UPDATE  ###

  • Pivot Pin improved with more teeth and better grip for more angle to adjust to. Now usable as a tablet stand for media consumption.
  • More snug to prevent sliding sideways
  • Removed other profiles to prefer more consistent print
  • Added more thumb clearance for the thumbsticks

No changes to usual installation. Start with bottom part of the controller piece and flex the top part to put it in place. Then, add the tablet piece on the pivot part at your desired angle and install the pin.

---------------------OLD--------------------

Been remote playing on my PC through several devices with Sunshine/Apollo and thought of purchasing a controller for the iPad 10/11th generation, BUT was given the idea of mounting the iPad on a controller behind it instead of the usual on the bottom with the smaller devices. Definitely prefer this over playing with my Steam Deck around the house with the immersion of a bigger screen! I also found it more ergonomic since I prefer playing with a controller. YMMV.

When printed in one piece, no support is required. Possibly hardest part is making sure both pieces get separated after printing. Best way I've managed to do it is by twisting it by rotating the tablet piece, holding the parts closest to the pivot point, as if I'm adjusting the tilt, then it'll snap. Printed it a few times and always succeeded in separating them. Otherwise, can be printed separately with supports.
