Description
A simple 50mm EDF holder that I made because the EDF was sold without holder. My EDF has 54mm outer diameter. You can either use CA-glue to glue the two halves together with the EDF inside or you can use two M4 screws with M4 nuts to secure the EDF in place. Best would be using both glue and nuts to secure the EDF in the holder 100 %. I printed mine in PLA but I recommend at least PET-G or ABS, the stronger filament the better. Heat resistance doesn't matter unless you store the EDF with this holder in hot car (if it's from PLA).
Important: Make sure the fan is able to spin freely after you use this holder!
I am not responsible for the damage of your EDF fan once you over-tighten it towards the spinning impeller.
