1:2 scale Roman Gladius

This 3-piece 3D print is designed to replicate a Roman gladius in modular form. The first piece is the blade, a double-edged leaf-shaped design with a central ridge running down its length for strength and authenticity. The second piece is the handle, featuring a grip styled after a traditional gladius hilt, with subtle grooves for hand placement and a widened pommel for balance. The third piece is a joining peg, a square connector engineered to slot securely into recesses inside both the blade base and the handle. Once assembled, the peg locks the two main pieces together, creating a sturdy and seamless replica while still allowing for easy printing and post-assembly. 

⚠️ Assembly Warning: After printing, the peg will likely need light sanding to properly fit into the recesses of the blade and handle. Once adjusted, it is strongly recommended to apply glue during final assembly to ensure the connection is secure and does not come apart during handling.

⚠️ Play Warning: This model is intended as a display or cosplay prop. Even when glued, the connection point between blade and handle is not designed to withstand rough play, striking, or sparring. Using excessive force may cause the pieces to break apart and could lead to injury. Handle responsibly.
