Description
This is one of this coolest looking Gen 3 pokemon, Metagross. Pokedex Entry: METAGROSS is the result of two METANG achieving fusion. When hunting, this POKéMON pins the prey to the ground under its massive body. It then eats the helpless victim using the large mouth on its stomach. Haha kind of freaky…
This model was done in parts allowing for easy cheap printing. All of the pieces in the print profile I uploaded are optimized for best positioning and printing angles. I have uploaded a shiny profile as well. This prints slightly differently since the adhesion strength of shiny PLA's is weaker, I still had some cracking on the legs, and had to reprint them a few times… Sorry guys, the connection between the legs and the leg joints is just harder for the weaker PLA's. Third party shiny pla's seem to be stronger than Bambu's brands btw.
Basic Assembly Guide: Lol just glue everything but the ball joints together when assembling. The ball joints are meant to articulate once you pop them together. Everything else is glued together. If you are confused, post a comment and I'll explain or clarify. The black shoulder joint pieces are all numbered, and their slots are numbered as well. All of the legs, leg joints, under horn thingies, and claw pieces are identical.
The black Jaw piece is optional, but it helps to show the void of his mouth better. It should be glued in as shown below.
